Fish Farm Lid for Aquarium Aquaponics

This Aquarium pod holder is compatible with all of our wide mouth accessories. Wide mouth accessories are sold separately (Green Onion Farm, Lettuce Farm, Microgreen Farm, AeroGarden Kratky Lid, 2” Net Pot Lid, etc.) It is 3D printed in PLA which is nontoxic and biodegradable. It is designed to sit on top of a 6.5” circular aquarium. What is Aquaponics? It’s a system where plants and fish give each other what they need in order to create a healthy ecosystem. The fish excretes ammonia (NH3) waste product nitrifying bacteria converts it to nitrate (NO3-). The plant filters the water by absorbing nitrate as food for the plant and improves the quality of the water for the fish. The system is reusable and should be hand washed in cool water and then allowed to air dry. Check out all of our other Aerogarden supplies on our Etsy store.
